SUNDAY SCHOOL: We
have age graded Sunday School classes in our children's department for
Kindergarten through the 5th grade. This provides a small group
environment where kids can feel comfortable and accepted. Various outings
and fellowships are planned during the year through our Sunday School groups.
It's a great place to build relationships and accountability.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH:
Children's Church, for Kindergarten through 5th grade, is held in the Fellowship
Hall during our Sunday Morning Worship Time. Children should accompany
their parents into the worship service where they will be dismissed at the
welcome time and taken to Children's Church. (both services)
CHILDREN'S CHOIR:
Children in grades K through 5 are invited to be a part of our children's choir.
The children's choir puts on at least one performance a year and are always a
part of our Christmas Production.
AWANA CLUB: Our
AWANA Club, for kids from age 3 through 5th grade, meets every Wednesday
night through the school year from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
VACATION
BIBLE

is held one week in the summer each year, and is always an exciting time for the
kids. Each year features a different theme which will feature awesome music,
exciting crafts, challenging games, and lessons the kids will remember for years
to come. Preparations for this VBS begin in January. Online registration is
available beginning in April.

MOPS
is about ...
-
Celebrating Motherhood
-
Meeting needs
-
Making Connections
-
Experiencing God’s love...through relationships and resources.
MOPS stands for Mothers of
Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban,
suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married
moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the
very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through
kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with
unique needs.
MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups
that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children. MOPS also
encourages and supports moms through resources such as books, the
M.O.P.S. Web site and the
MOPS International Membership.
The
First Baptist MOPS Group meets the first and third Thursdays of the month in the
Choir Room.
