The National Day of Prayer, taking place on the first Thursday of May, encourages individuals to join in prayer for our nation. Established in 1952 by Congress and signed into law by President Truman, it underscores the significance of seeking divine guidance in crucial decisions. This annual observance unites Americans from various backgrounds, with over two million participants engaging in more than 30,000 events facilitated by around 40,000 dedicated volunteers. People converge at state capitols, courthouses, city halls, schools, businesses, churches, and homes to pray.
Join First Baptist Church and Christian School on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM, as we gather to pray for our nation, government, church, schools, community, and neighbors.

MAGNIFIED! VBS will encourage kids to explore the intricate details of God's amazing creation and magnify or proclaim God's greatness. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!
Each day will be packed with games, snacks, Bible lessons, and songs. Kids, you're invited to join us for five days of fun!
